The Greek PRIME team was established in November 2010. Right away, a “google group” was created in order to exchange opinions and for a better coordination of the team. During the first skype meeting that was held, the team decided to be named “PRIMErs of change”. Primer means starter and in biochemistry these are parts of RNA that start the replication of DNA. This name was chosen, with the thought that we can definitely start a conversation around the issue of course recognition, with ultimate goal of holding a National Conference, even if it is hard to change many things in course recognition of ex Erasmus students.
Following these, a “Prime book” was created, which includes basic information for each member of the team and was designed in order for the members to get to know each other. Moreover, a promotional video of PRIME was made, during the fourth NP, as well as the logo, which was important in establishing the identity of the team.
This is a short description of the team; however stay tuned because soon we will turn more ideas into reality!
